I love gingersnaps and wanted to make a dessert for Thanksgiving that included them. Here is my result.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Spray a pie plate or shallow casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray. Arrange sliced apples and Craisins in a dish and drizzle with melted butter.
In a Ziploc bag, crush gingersnaps to an even consistency. Add softened butter and brown sugar and mix thoroughly. Sprinkle mixture over the apples in the casserole.
Bake for 35 minutes. Great served warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
