Chewy and dense chocolate brownie with a sprinkle of powdered sugar on top.
Preheat oven to 35oF. Spray an 8×8 pan or 13×9 if doubled with Pam. In a mixer bowl, cream shortening and sugar. Add the eggs, stir till combined. Mix in flour, cocoa and salt. Stir in vanilla. Pour in prepared pan. Bake 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out almost clean. You want them to be a little moist. Cool 5 minutes then sprinkle with desired amount of powdered sugar.
