Description

Easy to make chewy, fudgy brownies.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter, Melted
  • 3 cups White Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
  • 4 whole Eggs
  • 1-½ cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350 F. Grease a 9 x 13 baking pan and set it aside.

In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, sugar and vanilla extract. Beat in the eggs, one at a time. Set the wet ingredients aside.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder and salt. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Stir in the chocolate chips.

Spread the brownie batter evenly into the greased baking pan and bake it in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until a tester comes out clean. Remove dish from the oven and set it on a rack. Allow brownies to cool before cutting.

This was a yummy brownie recipe. Chewy and chocolatey. I like how it was a little bigger (9×13), there’s never such a thing as too many brownies! BUT there’s no ‘leavening’ agent in this recipe. I added about 1/2t- 1t of baking powder.
