We always made this pie after visiting my great aunt by Lake Michigan. Our car would be filled with blueberries and peaches to can and enjoy!
Add sugar to peaches and let stand for 30 minutes. In a large bowl, add cold water to gelatin to soften. Add boiling water and let cool. Add peaches, lemon juice and salt. Chill partially. Fold in whipped cream and pour into the pie crust. Chill and serve.
