This is good all year round. Have it with or without the sugar. Whatever you like, there is nothing healthier than a bowl of berries. Especially refreshing on a warm afternoon. This is enough to bring to a church function or a family gathering. Or just pop a top on it and it’s yours for the week.
Mix berries together and add a small amount of lemon juice to keep the berries fresh. Add sugar to taste (we only add 1 Tablespoons but I’ve seen others add up to a whole cup. (You may also add sugar substitutes or natural substitutes).
Refrigerate.
Want to add a kick? Try a dash of cinnamon and add just a touch of balsamic vinegar. This method is excellent over angel food cake!
****Please be sure to clean your berries with a mix of water, distilled vinegar and baking soda to insure cleaner produce.
