Rice Krispie treats are given a seasonal twist with browned butter and fall spices.
Brown butter over medium heat in a large skillet with high sides. When it starts to turn brown, add marshmallows, and stir (using a wooden spoon) to melt the marshmallows. Continue until smooth. Add spices and stir to incorporate evenly. Add cereal and stir to combine. Press into the bottom of a greased 9×13″ baking pan. Let cool before cutting to serve.

oh that looks delicious! i have to make it soon! (especially since in the northwest it already seems like it is fall!)
