This 5-ingredient recipe is so very simple and very delicious, and can be served hot with vanilla ice cream, warm or cold. Refrigerate leftovers, and you can reheat this in microwave.
Mix self-rising flour and sugar. Add water or milk and stir just to moisten (flour may have small lumps). Add fruit (canned, fresh, or frozen). Melt butter in a 8x9x2 baking dish or pour in oil, then pour fruit mixture into the dish. Bake for 45 minutes in a preheated 350 degree oven.
If using butter, microwave it in a glass dish to melt it while mixing other ingredients.
