Super simple … with a super tasty result! This is a great use for an abundance of fresh blackberries!
Preheat oven to 425 F.
In a large bowl combine washed and dried berries, flour and 3/4 cup of sugar. Toss gently.
Roll and place one of the 9 inch dough circles into a 9-inch pie pan. Pour berries into crust and top with the other 9 inch dough circle. Crimp together the edges of the top and bottom crusts and glaze lightly with the milk. Dust with the remaining 1/4 cup of sugar. Cut small slices in the top crust to vent.
Put dish on a baking tray if desired. Put it into the preheated oven. Bake for about 15 minutes at 425 F. Then reduce heat to 375 F and cook for an additional 25 minutes. If edges of the crust brown to soon, cover edges with foil strips.
