A refreshing combo of buttermilk and fresh lemons!
Mix Sugar, Lemon Juice, Zest, and Salt. Let sit for 20 Minutes.
Mix in Buttermilk (it will be lumpy!). Whisk until mixture is smooth.
Pour into Ice Cream Freezer and freeze according to directions. (Use 8 cups ice to 1 cup of rock salt) Should take about 45 minutes to freeze.
Let ‘ripen’ in freezer for 2 to 3 hours before serving.
