This is a yummy, easy to make from scratch Dutch apple pie.
Combine crust/topping ingredients. Set aside 1 cup for topping. Press remaining crumb mixture into an un-greased pie plate. Set aside.
Combine sugar, cornstarch, and water in a saucepan and stir until smooth. Bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 1 minute or until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in apples, vanilla and cinnamon. Pour into crust. Top with reserved crumb mixture.
Bake at 350F for 40-45 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
