These bars are so easy to bake and are great for when it’s too hot to turn on the oven. They are similar to other peanut butter bar recipes I have seen except for the added cereal treat.
1. Mix butter, sugar, Graham Cracker crumbs, cereal and peanut butter.
2. Press into a lightly greased 9×13 baking dish. I just sprayed mine with butter spray, or you can line it with parchment paper instead.
3. Place in the refrigerator to cool for 10–15 minutes.
4. Melt the chips. (I bought a bag of chocolate chips and peanut butter chips that already came combined. If you can’t find that, you can just do straight chocolate chips or of course you could buy both kinds and combine them yourself.)
4. Spread melted chips over the cooled bars and then allow chocolate time to set.
5. Cut into small bars and serve.
They are very rich and crunchy!
