Description

These cream cheese squares are good for breakfast, dessert or snack time. Not too sweet with a hint of cinnamon.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (8 Oz. Size) Crescent Rolls
  • 2 bars (8 Oz. Size) Cream Cheese
  • 1-¼ cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 jar (3 Oz. Size Cinnamon Sugar, For Sprinkling On Top
  • 1 stick Margarine, Melted

Preparation

You will need a 9 x 13″ pan (I used a metal pan).

Spray the pan with some type of coating such as Pam. Spread out 1 package of crescent rolls, smoothing together the seams, on the bottom of pan.

Mix cream cheese with sugar and vanilla extract and spread over the crescent rolls. Top with the remaining package of crescent rolls.

Take cinnamon and sugar mixture and sprinkle over the top. Melt margarine and pour over whole pan.

Bake at 350ºF for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Cool first for 15 minutes then chill until cream cheese sets. Then cut into squares. You will need to keep these refrigerated, but may take out 10-15 minutes before serving.
