Moist chocolate brownies with gooey macaroon center. Divine!
Mix butter, sugar, vanilla, and cocoa. Whisk in eggs till well blended. Stir in flour and salt. Spread half of batter in a greased 9×13″ pan. Combine all filling ingredients in a mixing bowl. Spread over the brownie batter. Drop remaining batter over the filling in spoonfuls, then spread out. Bake at 350°F for about 40–45 minutes. (I used a glass pan, so I baked at 325°F.)

So we made these tonight, but we were in such a hurry we used boxed brownies and then found out we were out of sweetened condensed milk so found an online substitution recipe for the milk and they still turned out fantastic! I can’t keep my hands out of the pan!

These sound out of this world! I know what I’m trying this weekend. I can imagine adding chopped almonds to the filling would liken them to an almond joy candy bar. YUM!
