Perfectly velvety cocoa sauce for desserts and ice cream, also great as cake icing.
Makes about 2/3 cup (170 ml) sauce.
Pour water into a saucepan, add icing sugar and dissolve it over low heat. Add the butter and melt, stiring constantly. Remove the saucepan from heat and add sifted cocoa powder. Mix vigorously until the sauce is smooth. Cool.
