Description

This is one of the first recipes I ever came up with because I loved the cinnamon apples that came in my “Kid Cuisines” when I was little. It’s delicious as either a dessert or a side dish!

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 1 whole Peeled, Cored, And Sliced Into 16 Wedges
  • ⅛ cups Brown Sugar
  • ⅛ teaspoons Ground Cinnamon

Preparation

1. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat.

2. Toss in the apple and stir to coat with butter. Cook until slightly softened, 3-5 minutes.

3. Sprinkle on the brown sugar and cinnamon, then toss the apples to coat. Cook, stirring occasionally, until fork-tender but not falling apart, 5-7 minutes more.

4. Divide apple slices into two bowls and pour any remaining sauce on top.

I added slightly less butter and a little more cinnamon and brown sugar, but this was delish!
