Warming both your kitchen and your soul, Cinnamon Baked Apples are a wonderful fall dessert. Soft apples, cinnamon sugar, and nutty walnuts combine to create this seasonal favorite!
Preheat oven to 350ºF and grease a 1-quart baking dish. Place apples in the greased baking dish. Pour apple cider over apples.
In a bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Sprinkle mixture evenly over the top of the apples. Dot butter cubes over the top of the apples. Sprinkle on walnuts.
Bake in the oven for 45–60 minutes or until apples are soft. Serve apples warm over vanilla ice cream.
