These little chocolate bombs are interesting because of the subtle hint of sweet paprika (use chili if you want to make it more “controversial”) and a little drunk because of tiny bit of cognac in them. Plus, prunes add to the ultimate flavor. Don’t be afraid to indulge in these, you won’t be sorry.
1. Chop prunes and sink them in cognac. Soak for 1 hour.
2. Boil heavy cream, add chopped chocolate and stir until well incorporated. Place in the freezer.
3. When chilled, mix in prunes, together with the cognac. Put back in the freezer to chill. Shape into balls and roll into cocoa powder mixed with paprika.
