Description

Not quite a brownie, not quite chocolate silk pie. Very much delicious!

Ingredients

  • ⅓ cups Plus 1 Tablespoon Cocoa Powder
  • 2 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 6-½ Tablespoons Butter, Melted
  • 8-½ ounces, fluid Evaporated Milk
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 3 whole Eggs, Lightly Beaten
  • 1 whole 9-inch Deep Dish Pie Crust
  • Whipped Cream For Topping
  • Chocolate Shavings, For Topping

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350°. In a large bowl, sift together the cocoa powder and sugar. Add the melted butter, evaporated milk and the vanilla. Add eggs and mix well. Pour into the pie shell and bake for 1 hour. Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
