Have you ever tried to recreate one of your favorite desserts while eliminating grain, soy, dairy and sugar? Welcome to my life. Here is a brownie that screams sinful but reads healthy.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
1. Sift flour, place in food processor.
2. Melt coconut oil over medium heat, mix with unsweetened cocoa, then add to food processor with the flour.
3. Add agave, apple sauce and eggs.
4. Pulse to mix until you get a smooth chocolate batter.
5. Remove blades then mix in chocolate chips with a spatula.
6. Lightly grease an 8×8 brownie pan.
7. Pour in batter, cook for 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
