Brownies, topped with a light layer of peanut butter filling and a chocolate top.
1. In a large bowl combine brownie mix and the ingredients specified on the box. Bake according to the instructions on the bow. When done remove pan from oven and set it on a rack. Let brownies cool.
2. In a medium bowl combine your softened butter, peanut butter and milk. Start with 1 teaspoon of milk but you may need up to 1 more. Then slowly mix in the powered sugar.
3. After your brownies are cool spread the filling on top of the brownies. Set aside. Place your chocolate chips into a microwave safe bowl and microwave for approximately 30-60 seconds checking every 15 seconds or until the chocolate is almost totally smooth and melted. (You want the chocolate nice and glossy; not hard and sticky or it will be burnt.)
4. Spread the chocolate on top of the brownies and let it harden in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours. Cut into bite-sized pieces, and keep refrigerated.
