This is a sweet, southern favorite…easy to make and delicious served with a dollop of whip cream.
Combine sugar, cocoa and salt. Add eggs, butter, milk and vanilla. Mix thoroughly.
Pour into pie crust. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes until set.
You may need to shield the crust with foil to prevent burning.
Allow to cool and serve warm or at room temperature with a dollop of whipped cream.
