Description

Chocolate covered Honey Buns, oh my. They are delicious straight out of the box, heated in the microwave or grilled. I came up with a recipe that tops any other way. Chocolate Honey Bun Bread Pudding!

Ingredients

  • 1 package Chocolate Honey Buns (19 Ounce Box)
  • 2 cups Half-and-Half
  • 4 whole Eggs
  • ½ teaspoons Vanilla
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • Chopped Pecans, For Garnish (optional)
  • 1 bag Large Marshmallows, 16 Ounce Bag

Preparation

Use one (19 ounce) box of chocolate honey buns. Chop them into bite size pieces.

Spray a 9×13-inch Pyrex pan with cooking spray. Place the Honey Bun pieces into pan. Mix together the remaining ingredients. Pour the mixture over the Honey Bun pieces and press down with a spoon. Chopped pecans can be added to top.

Let mixture sit for 30 minutes to soak up liquid.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. You want it to be brown around the edges and set in the middle.

For each serving, place 4-6 marshmallows in a bowl and microwave them for 10-15 seconds, just until they are melted. Place bread pudding into middle of marshmallows. Yummy!
