Description

These Chocolate Banana Bread Brownies also feature walnuts and are dense, moist, and comforting. Perfect with a big mug of cocoa or a cup of coffee!

Ingredients

  • ¾ sticks Unsalted Butter
  • ¾ cups Semisweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1-¾ cup Mashed Bananas
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ½ cups Granulated Sugar
  • 3  Large Eggs, Slightly Beaten
  • 1-¾ cup All-purpose Flour
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 cup Coarsely Chopped Walnuts

Preparation

Grease a square 9×9-inch baking pan with butter and dust with some flour. Preheat oven to 350°F.

Melt butter and chocolate in a small saucepan over very low heat. Set aside to cool.

In a bowl, add mashed bananas, vanilla and sugar. Mix to combine. Add beaten eggs and mix once again.

Sift flour and salt into the bananas. Add walnuts and and stir to combine. Add 2/3 of the chocolate and butter mixture and mix well.

Spread the batter in the baking pan. Drizzle the remaining melted chocolate on top and create chocolate streaks with a spatula. Bake for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
