Here’s a brownie recipe sure to please the chocolate lover in your family. These brownies form a lovely crust on top and stay moist for several days.
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
In a small saucepan, melt butter. Add sugar and brown sugar, mixing well.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Stir melted butter into flour mixture. Add eggs, chocolate syrup, vanilla, and chocolate chips. Mix until thoroughly combined.
Pour half of mixture into a greased 9×13 baking pan. Spoon caramel topping over batter. Layer with remaining batter, spreading to edges.
Bake for 28–30 minutes until done in center. Yum!
