Good rice crispy treats, but they don’t taste any different to me or my husband. The sprinkles are a fun addition, though!

I made these for our party. They were gobbled up in the first 2 hours. And someone even commented that he didn’t realize sprinkles added that much flavor. I told him your secret ingredient.

I was super excited to try this one out. Sadly, it didn’t taste much like birthday cake. Even my kids said that they would rather have the regular crispy treats. They only ate one and they don’t want the rest so they are going to waste. I love the idea, just not the end result.

I made these last night, so yummy! I love that they look and taste totally different than regular rice krispy treats but don’t take any additional effort!

Hmmm…this kind of made me wonder if you’ve tried making krispie treats with the flavored marshmallows I see all the time now. There’s strawberry, caramel, toasted coconut, etc. I’ve made them with the toasted coconut, and they are really good. They just added one more flavor and texture element.

These sound WONDERFUL! What a great idea to change the flavor of an already great dessert.
Thanks so much for sharing the fantastic photo and recipe,
