Description

These are Heaven squared!

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Butter, Plus A Little More For The Pan And The Parchment Paper
  • ¼ cups Chocolate Banana Liqueur
  • 1 bag Marshmallows, 10 Oz Bag (or A 7 Oz Jar Of Marshmallow Fluff)
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies Or Similar Cereal
  • ½ cups Crumbled Pretzel Sticks Or Pretzels (depending On How Salty You Like Your Sweets)
  • 1 cup Butterscotch Chips, Divided

Preparation

Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan as well as a piece of parchment paper of about the same size.

Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium-low heat. Add the liqueur just before the butter is completely melted. Turn the heat down a little and add the marshmallows. Let them melt, stirring every now and then.

Once the marshmallows are completely melted, remove the saucepan from the heat and add the cereal and the pretzel stick pieces.

Stir to combine, add half of the butterscotch chips and stir until you have patches of melted butterscotch chips throughout the mix.

Press the mixture into the prepared pan using the piece of parchment paper to keep your hands clean.

Sprinkle the treats with the remaining butterscotch chips and push them down firmly using the parchment once more.

Let them cool on the counter or in the fridge then cut into squares.

Notes:
– If you can’t find any chocolate banana liqueur, try Bailey’s Irish Cream with the tiniest splash of banana syrup or even less banana extract. Crushed-up banana chips would also be awesome in these!
– Milk chocolate chips work in a pinch instead of butterscotch.
