From my grandmother’s recipe box – a simple, yet delicious bar that can be eaten for dessert, a snack, or even breakfast. It counts as breakfast as it has bran flakes, right?
Blend butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Stir in vanilla and salt. Crush bran flakes an add in with flour to the creamed mixture. Do not overmix at this point. Pour into a greased 9X9 pan. Bake at 350F for 25 minutes.
