Description

Enjoy homemade blueberry ice cream in just minutes by blending up frozen fruit, cream and vanilla.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Frozen Banana
  • 1 cup Frozen Blueberries
  • ½ cups Half-and-Half (or Heavy Cream)
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract

Preparation

Add ingredients to a blender and mix until smooth. Serve immediately or transfer to a freezer safe container.

I think this is a great recipe. I’m diabetic and can’t eat regular ice cream and sugar free either tastes nasty or is very expensive. As long as I allow for the natural sugars, I’m good to go!! Thanks for sharing!

Fantastic recipe – I had dessert made within 2 minutes, and we loved it. Freezer is still full of blueberries, and this will make a dent into our supply. We don’t like things too sweet, and here the banana added just enough of sugar. I might add a bit of lemon juice next time. Thanks for the recipe!
