A quick way to enjoy a traditional New Orleans favorite.
Pour oil to a depth of about 2 inches into a deep saucepan and heat oil to 350°F. Separate biscuits into individual rounds and place gently into the oil. Fry biscuit pieces for about 1 minute per side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels, and dust generously with powdered sugar and drizzle with honey. Serve immediately.
Note: Be careful when dropping biscuit dough into the hot oil as it will be very hot and will pop as the dough begins to cook. Use tongs to flip biscuits over.
