Pretty and delicious! Always a hit at church and holidays. I got this from a friend’s grandmother.
Fill baked and chilled pie shell with whole or halved strawberries.
Combine sugar, cornstarch and water in a medium saucepan. Bring to a full boil, stirring and cooking until clear, about 5-10 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in strawberry gelatin powder. Mix well, cool slightly, and pour over berries in the baked and cooled pie shell.
Chill for one hour or more before serving. Serve with Cool Whip.
