Tart apples, plump raisins, toasted almonds, nutmeg and cinnamon make up the flavors of this simple dessert
Preheat oven to 350 F. Butter an 8-inch round cake pan. Set aside.
Measure all of the ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Mixture will seem very dry at first, but as you stir, it will become moist.
Scrape into the cake pan and spread smooth. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Serve warm, cut into wedges, topped with ice cream of whipped topping.
