Better than the ones you buy, plus you get a 9 x 13 pan full of them.
Mix the sugars and the corn syrup in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil for one minute and then remove from heat. Add peanut butter and stir until smooth.
In a separate bowl mix cornflakes and peanuts. Then pour the sugar/peanut butter mixture over and stir. Press into a buttered 9 x 13 pan.
Microwave chocolate and butterscotch chips about 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Stir, melt longer if necessary. Stir until smooth then use as frosting.
You can use milk chocolate chips alone for the frosting but I’ve found it just a bit too sweet. I can eat way, way, way more of these if I use the semi-sweet/butterscotch chip mixture. So, of course, I do.
