Description

A quick dessert, easy enough for young children.

Ingredients

  • 6 whole Girl Scout Cookies--Trefoil Or Shortbread
  • 1 jar Applesauce
  • 1 pinch Cinnamon
  • 1 container Whipped Cream, Cool Whip, Reddi-whip

Preparation

Arrange 3 cookies on an individual plate, top each with a dab of applesauce, sprinkle with a bit of cinnamon. Top each with another cookie and another dab of applesauce and another sprinkle of cinnamon.

Cover with plastic wrap and set into refrigerator for about 1 hour.

To serve, unwrap and top each cookie torte with a dab of whipped cream. If you desire, sprinkle whipped cream with a bit of cinnamon.

Can also be made with Daisy Go Rounds Girl Scout cookies or, in a pinch, any thin shortbread or butter cookie.
