Easy, delicious Apple Pie with a hint of honey.
Prepare your favorite pie crust.
Preheat oven to 425°. Prepare your pie pan with your bottom pie crust.
Peel, core and slice apples.
Mix sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt in a large bowl. Sprinkle half of the mixture over the bottom pie crust. Add apples. Sprinkle the rest of the mixture over the apples. Drizzle lemon juice and honey over the top. Dot with butter. Cover with the top pastry that has slits cut in it and seal and flute. (Or create a decorative design with your top crust.)
Bake 30 minutes or until crust is golden brown and juice begins to bubble through slits in crust. Cool on a wire rack for at least 2 hours.
