I love this recipe. I made it twice already and the family really loves it and I love how easy it is to do. I add cinnamon and sugar to the apples with a little lemon juice to prevent browning while I finish slicing. I’m on my way out the door to church group with a fresh pan right now!

I’ve made this twice in the last two weeks with fresh peaches from my tree. It is so easy to make and incredibly tasty. I also brought it to book club and it received rave reviews.

My whole family loved this dessert! I used Akane apples (also called Tokyo Rose, I’m told) and they were delicious! I will try peaches next time, and there WILL be a next time.

OMIGOSH this was good! The hubs and I almost didn’t believe it was made by me.

I added 1/2 Tb cinnamon to the flour mix and we ate it with whipped cream hot out of the oven.

This filled an 8×8 pan to the brim and I only had 4 peaches, would have been too many.

So easy and really good. The topping is sweet and crunchy and we loved it with vanilla ice cream on top.

This recipe is AWESOME! It’s really more a crisp than a cobbler but it is still wonderful. I was using tart apples so added some sugar and agave nectar to sweeten the fruit. I also covered the dish with foil and baked for 20 minutes to make sure the fruit cooked through then uncovered and baked another 20 minutes. This may have been overkill but it turned out great. The things I like best about this recipe besides how easy it is and the incredible taste is the crust/topping doesn’t get soggy. The crust stays firm and a crisp. Yummy!!! I will definitely make this recipe again and again.
