This cobbler recipe can be used with any fruit, canned or fresh. Super easy and delish!
Peel and slice 6 to 8 peaches, apples or any other fruit, enough to cover the bottom of a 2 quart shallow baking dish.
Combine the flour, brown sugar and stick of butter using a fork or pastry blender until it is well blended and crumbly.
Cover the fruit with the mixture and bake at 375 deg. for 30 minutes.

I love this recipe. I made it twice already and the family really loves it and I love how easy it is to do. I add cinnamon and sugar to the apples with a little lemon juice to prevent browning while I finish slicing. I’m on my way out the door to church group with a fresh pan right now!

I’ve made this twice in the last two weeks with fresh peaches from my tree. It is so easy to make and incredibly tasty. I also brought it to book club and it received rave reviews.

My whole family loved this dessert! I used Akane apples (also called Tokyo Rose, I’m told) and they were delicious! I will try peaches next time, and there WILL be a next time.

OMIGOSH this was good! The hubs and I almost didn’t believe it was made by me.
I added 1/2 Tb cinnamon to the flour mix and we ate it with whipped cream hot out of the oven.
This filled an 8×8 pan to the brim and I only had 4 peaches, would have been too many.

So easy and really good. The topping is sweet and crunchy and we loved it with vanilla ice cream on top.
