These were really great! I’m giving them a 5 because all my children loved them and were eating the overabundance of squash. One absolutely hates yellow squash. I did use applesauce for the oil. I had some that I canned that was really too thick and tart to eat but works great as an oil substitute. I also halved the topping. These were a great hit. I made a batch of blueberry muffins and a batch of nut bread. Thanks for the great recipe.

I really enjoyed this bread! I added walnuts to one of my loaves, and definitely liked that one better. The nuts are a great addition to this bread. I might half the topping on it next time though. I liked it, but it was a bit too much for my taste. Great recipe. Thank you!

I too was in need of ideas for “neighborly squash” when I found this recipe! I had blueberries & squash that needed to be used so it was perfect! I did use the topping on the loaves as well! Thanks, I think this on is a keeper for us! Yum!

Do you “de-seed” the squash before you shred them? Thanks
