Fabulous wholemeal brown bread, always goes down a treat.
1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F (or gas mark 6). Grease a 2-pound loaf tin.
2. Mix all ingredients together until it becomes a sloppy mess.
3. Pour into the loaf tin and bake in the oven for 45 – 50 minutes.
4. Here’s the secret to a good Irish homemade loaf: Wrap the hot baked loaf in a cotton tea towel and stand upside down for 8 hours before cutting.
