I’ve been through many whole wheat recipes and this one tastes the best and has the best texture!
Combine the 1/2 cup warm water and yeast. Set aside.
Then add and mix together the remaining ingredients, except the flour. Slowly begin to add your flour.. You want to make sure you don’t add too much or you’ll end up with a dry loaf of bread and that’s just not fun.
Once the mixture becomes a big ball, you’ll want to begin your kneading. Once you finish kneading, let your dough rise in an oiled bowl for a good hour or more. Once it’s risen, punch it down and divide into 2 bread pans.
Heat oven to 350F.
I usually let the dough rise just a little bit before throwing it into the oven. Either way, let it bake for a good 50 minutes, depending on your oven. Mine currently cooks everything fast so I cut down on time.
