A delicious cheesy, bacony bread that goes well with soups, pastas or all alone.
Cut French bread into slices without cutting all the way through. Cut Swiss cheese slices into trangles and place in between French bread slices; you may have enough Swiss cheese to add two slices per cut. Make a paste with butter, mustard, poppy seeds, and bacon (cut into small pieces). Spread paste on top of the loaf. Place loaf on a baking sheet and cook in a 400ºF oven for 15-20 minutes. Serve with your favorite pasta or soup.
