This is the most delicious banana bread recipe I’ve found. The bread part is delicious, but the best part is the topping. My husband doesn’t like bananas and he eats a mini loaf in one sitting – maybe more!! It’s great with a cold glass of milk! The only downside is that it is only for mini loaf pans.
Mix all the ingredients together except for the topping. Pour 1/2 full in greased mini loaf pans. Mix topping ingredients and pour on top of dough. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes, depending on your oven. It makes 4-5 mini loaf pans depending on the size of your loaf pans.
A small tip: when my bananas start to go bad, I put them in the freezer where they turn almost black. You can save them and use them for a while after. I thaw 3 out for this recipe and mash them and I think it’s way better than fresh bananas!
I also think this would would be good with mini chocolate chips.
Enjoy!

Made this bread last night. It is wonderful! The topping makes it even better.

Very good! I made some changes to it, though. I added about 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg to give it some spice. I also didn’t bother with the topping cause I just wanted to eat it right away! I used a regular sized loaf pan, poured all the batter in one, and it was done in 45 minutes. Delicious and moist with that signature banana flavor!
