Description

Bread without a bread machine!

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Instant Yeast
  • 1 cup Warm Water
  • 2-½ cups Bread Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Oats
  • ½ cups Sunflower Seeds
  • ½ cups Flax Seeds
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter, Melted
  • 1 Tablespoon Canola Oil (to Coat The Bowl)
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter, To Grease The Pan

Preparation

Stir yeast into the lukewarm water. Let sit for about 10 minutes.

In a bowl combine flour, salt and oats. Pour in yeast/water mixture and mix well. Add sunflower seeds, flax seeds, honey and lastly, melted butter. Keep mixing with your mixer at medium speed until you get a soft and quite sticky dough. Place the dough into a bowl (previously coated with oil), cover with a towel and let rise for about 2 hours.

2 hours later, on a slightly floured surface, roll the dough into a rectangular shape, then starting from one short edge, roll it up to the other edge. Place it in a well-buttered loaf pan, cover with plastic wrap and let sit for 1 hour.

Bake at 180ºC for about 50 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool, then slice it up.
