Roasted bananas and browned butter make this banana bread anything but ordinary.
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Place bananas on a cookie sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes. Let cool and remove peel. Place in a small bowl and mash with a fork.
Grease bread pan with olive oil spray.
Heat butter in a small sauce pan over medium-high heat until brown and fragrant.
In your stand mixer, add browned butter, buttermilk, vanilla, spices, salt, and mashed bananas.
Whisk egg and sugar and add to slowly into mixer.
Sift the flour and baking soda and add to the mixer 1/4 cup at a time until well combined.
Pour into bread pan and bake at 350ºF for 45 to 55 minutes or until a toothpick can be inserted and come out clean. Enjoy!
