Description

Deliciously moist banana bread with a Pralinutta (tastes just like Nutella) swirl.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup White Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ cups Butter
  • ¾ cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 whole Egg, Beaten
  • 1 cup Mashed Banana (about 3)
  • 5 Tablespoons Milk (whole Or Butter)
  • ½ cups Pralinutta Or Nutella

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350F. Spray a loaf pan with cooking spray and set aside.

In a bowl, whisk flours, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In a large bowl, cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Beat in egg; add bananas and mix until incorporated.

Stir flour mixture into wet mixture. Slowly mix in milk.

Place Pralinutta in a small bowl and microwave for about 15 seconds (making it easier to pour).

Pour 1/3 of batter into the loaf pan. Drizzle a portion of Pralinutta over the batter and drag a knife through to get the swirl effect. Cover with another layer of batter and Pralinutta and repeat. (You’ll do the layering a total of 3 times). Optional: If you have extra bananas laying around, place slices on top before going to the oven.

Transfer to the oven and bake for 50-60 minutes. Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes on a cooling rack before diggin’ in.

Made this last night and it tastes wonderful! Super moist and very filling. I substituted the pralinutta with regular peanut butter and it worked great. I did have to bake it for about an hour and ten minutes with foil over the top for the last ten minutes and it came out perfect. Thanks for sharing!

This was very very good! I made it in a 8×8 pan instead of the loaf pan and it turned out great!
Thanks

This was very good!! The nutella added just the right amount of richness and the bread was very moist! I plan on making another loaf tonight!
