My great-grandma’s famous recipe for banana bread. It already calls for whole wheat flour—I just made it even healthier!
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nuts (if using) in a bowl. In your stand mixer bowl, cream butter, yogurt, and brown sugar together until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well after each addition. Continue beating and add in flour and bananas. Mix well.
Pour into a 9x5x3″ loaf pan lined with parchment paper. If you want, sprinkle top of batter with cinnamon sugar. Bake 45-60 minutes. Test if done by using a toothpick. Turn onto rack, and let cool. Then eat!
