Description

I’ve been perfecting this bread recipe for nearly 10 years. It is perfect for sandwiches, makes gorgeous toast and is 30 percent cheaper than buying from the store!

Ingredients

  • 1-¾ cup Warm Water
  • 1-¼ teaspoon Yeast
  • 4 Tablespoons Skimmed Milk Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1-½ Tablespoon Sugar
  • 4 Tablespoons Oil
  • ¼ cups Flaxseed/linseed
  • ¼ cups Sesame Seeds
  • ¼ cups Barley Flakes OR Rye Flakes
  • ¼ cups Pumpkin Seeds
  • ¼ cups Sunflower Seeds
  • ¼ cups Crushed Almonds
  • 1-¾ cup Strong White Bread Flour
  • 1 cup Strong Brown Bread Flour
  • 1 cup Malted Wheat Bread Flour

Preparation

This makes a 2lb loaf.

Place ingredients in order in bread machine pan.
Put pan in machine and use setting for white bread.

Mine takes three hours to bake.

When bread is done, knock it out of the pan and onto a rack to cool completely before cutting.
