Description

A sweet and gooey dessert to pick apart and enjoy the delicious doughy goodness.

Ingredients

  • 3 cans (8 Oz. Can) Biscuits
  • 1 cup White Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cups Karo White Syrup
  • ½ cups Butter

Preparation

Quarter biscuits, then roll in white sugar and cinnamon mixture. Place in a slightly greased bundt pan. Bring brown sugar, syrup, and butter to a boil. Pour over the biscuits; bake at 350F for 25-30 minutes or until brown. Invert on a serving dish while still hot.

This was so good! The caramelized sauce is what made it different from other monkey bread recipes that I’ve had.

I did alter it slightly–I used 1-1/2 cans of flaky buttermilk Grands & cut each biscuit into 8, since they are larger. I didn’t know if the biscuits would matter, but the recipe still turned out great!
