One of our most favorite flavor combinations is maple syrup, bacon, and a really great cornbread muffin recipe. We also love this recipe because the ingredients required are staples we have in our kitchen all the time. It’s as simple as deciding you want these tasty treats, throwing everything in a bowl and baking them to perfection.
Preheat oven to 400ºF and grease the muffin pan or use paper liners.
Blend ingredients. Batter will be slightly lumpy. (For maximum crown on muffins, let batter rest for 3 or 4 minutes and stir lightly before filling cups.)
Fill muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake 15–20 minutes or until golden brown.
