Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Grease a 9×9 inch baking dish; set aside.
Sift dry ingredients together. Set aside. Mix together the egg, skim milk, and melted margarine. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir just until combined.
Pour batter into prepared baking dish. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
