Description

Easy and delicious! Made with puff pastry!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE ROLLS:
  • 1 package Frozen Puff Pastry Thawed In The Refrigerator (2 Sheets Per Package)
  • 2 Tablespoons Melted Butter
  • 1 cup Strawberry Jam
  • 2 cups Thinly Sliced Strawberries
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • FOR THE ICING:
  • ¾ cups Confectioners Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons Melted Butter
  • 1-½ Tablespoon Milk, Or More As Needed
  • 1 teaspoon Strawberry Jam

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400 F.

Lightly flour your work surface and roll out one sheet of puff pastry until it’s about 1/4 inch thick (leave the other sheet in the refrigerator while you work).

Brush puff pastry with half of the melted butter, leaving 1 inch of space around the edges. Evenly add half of the strawberry jam over the melted butter then layer with half of the strawberry slices and sprinkle ground cinnamon over everything.

Tightly but gently roll up the dough starting from one of the long sides. Use a little melted butter on the open edge of the roll to seal the seam.

Using a sharp knife, cut the roll into six slices. Place each roll inside a parchment paper lined baking dish, cut side up. Place the dish in the refrigerator as you repeat the above steps with the last sheet of puff pastry and the other filling ingredients.

Bake the cinnamon rolls in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden (watch carefully).

While rolls are baking, make the icing by mixing all remaining ingredients together in a bowl (confectioner’s sugar, butter, milk and jam) until nice and smooth. If needed, add a teaspoon more of milk until it is drizzling consistency.

Drizzle icing over the cinnamon rolls when they are fresh out of the oven and enjoy. Happy baking!
