Description

Light, airy, awesome bread (with sour cream).

Ingredients

  • ¾ cups Sour Cream
  • ⅛ cups Water
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 3 cups Flour
  • 1-½ teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar
  • ¼ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1 cup Grated Cheddar Cheese
  • 3 Tablespoons Canned Jalapeno Peppers, Drained
  • 1-½ teaspoon Active Dry Yeast

Preparation

Put ingredients in the bread machine in the order listed. Use settings for a 1- 1/2-pound loaf, regular bread cycle and light toast. This bread is so light and airy, hope you enjoy!

This is a great bread recipe….I just knew there would not be enough liquid..there was and it is a very tasty bread.

Delicious! My family loves it! I chopped the jalepenos pretty well…but, we love big chunks of jalepenos, so next time I will add another tablespoon and slice them. Thanks for the yummy recipe!

I just got a bread maker for Christmas, so I am still learning the ropes as far as bread making is concerned. I made this according to the recipe, and it came out more doughy than airy. The bread rose properly but it was more moist than usual. That being said, it was still very delicious with just a little bit of a heat to it. I would definitely make it again and will try to adjust to recipe to my bread machine.
